Rodent Exclusion

Here we have yet another example of our rodent exclusion work.           The original screen on this crawlspace vent was torn. These types of screens are not very secure; mice, rats, or even chipmunks can easily tear or chew their way through them. Also, TV/internet installers commonly cut through them to run their cable wires into a house.  Since this was a brick house, and the mortar around the vent was good, we simply cut and installed some quarter inch pvc-coated, (so it won’t rust,) heavy-gauge screen directly over it.
